Ašta Šmé participated in the organisation of the international comics workshop Strip It! in Belgrade (2009), ComiXculture in Sofia (2010), and Migration Comics in Harlem (2010). Under the title Ašta Šmé other comics based on real stories have also been published (eg. Richard, In:Homelessness, 2011).
